Ever feel tired of searching for something missing in your life? Oftentimes we keep on searching for worldly things to make us happy. And more often than not, we end up lonely despite our successes and achievements.

While there is nothing wrong with wanting financial success, a career advancement, a romantic relationship or temporary happiness from things this world has to offer, but there are definitely times when we still feel empty despite everything we have amassed, we are still yearning for something that we cannot pin-point. Simply put, we never really find lasting contentment from our worldly desires.

And the main reason why we never receive the blessing of contentment is simply because we fail to seek God for His plans in our life. The problem with us is that we are such a selfish race. Before doing anything, we often ask..."What's in it for Me?"...when the question we should ask ourselves is..."What is it I can do to help?". I believe with all my heart that God's calling for me is to constantly have a generous heart for other people. My everyday prayer is for the Lord to bless me so that I may become a blessing to others. If you're reading this, I pray, that you could have this desire too.
