We had a great time at the 6th Philippine Toy Convention. Posted below are the excerpts of the Toycon as well as a couple of light moments we had. We just couldn't help but pose with several of the eye candy goodies all over the place!

Ooo nga...sayang. Sana nakapag-pa-picture kami sa 'yo. Mukhang maganda pa naman ang camera mo! =) Typical Pinoy kasi kami...mahilig magpa-picture! Hehehe

The TransFormers Philippines booth/Floro Dery Exihibit is located near the cosplayer's area. These entries wherre near there.

Yup! We took notice of all the exhibits you mentioned. You guys did great in recognizing Floro Dery. Didn't know that a Filipino took a significant part in creating the transformers if not for you guys at Transformersph!

I was just wondering if Mr. Dery also took part in designing Optimus, Megatron and Starscream. From what I read in your exhibit, Mr. Dery seemed to be the creator of characters from the movie mostly.

Thanks for being a constant reminder of how wonderful creations the Transformers are! =)

Actually Mr. Dery was head concept designer for the original TraqnsFormers The Movie (1986).

He created Hotrod and Gnaw (The Sharkticon). His most memorable character that he really created was Unicron. You can read our interview with him at: http://transformersph.blogspot.com to check also the rest of of the TF-related updates.
