Iron Man is an upcoming 2008 superhero film based on the fictional Marvel Comics character Iron Man. The film is directed by Jon Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. Other cast members are Terrence Howard as James Rhode, Gwyneth Paltrow as Virginia "Pepper" Potts, Jeff Bridges as Obadiah Stane / Iron Monger, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. The film is slated for a May 2, 2008 release, and is the first film independently produced by Marvel Studios.

I'm so much looking forward to watch this film in the Big Screen!

I've been wishing for Hollywood to make an Iron Man film since I saw the Rocketeer movie. Now it's for real! The flight scenes in this trailer look awesome! You just have to love their attention to aerodynamic detail by placing flaps on Iron Man's armor. Sweet!

solid cast, awesome effects = marvel's best movie since spider-man 2. im excited for terrence howard as rhodie, who could be war machine in a sequel.

Yeah the cast is pretty solid. I kinda dig Spidey 3 though....nothing about that movie bothered me. I'd love to see war machine too but he'll probably look like the Mark 1 Armor. What would be sweet is if Iron Man gets to fight Captain America in a future sequel.

oh that'd be cool. but i guess they have to make solo cap flick and an avengers movie first! ikaw naman, gusto mo na kagad sila magaway eh! but a civil war movie would be cool. maybe it'd work better as a series. there's just so many characters and storylines it wouldn't fit into a movie! maybe in 2012, kaya na ng hollywood gumawa nun. hehe
